JIS Facilitators will work part-time, supporting in the Neighbourhood Recreation Program (NRP), Swimming Lessons, Children's programming at the Complex and Youth Move. Please include your evening and weekend availability for the Fall session. The schedule changes every season (fall/winter/spring).
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor Children, Youth & Junior Inclusion Services, provides appropriate assistance and support to participants with disabilities, who are participating in the Division’s Children and Youth programming. Assists in fostering an atmosphere of independence, confidence, and mutual support for children and youth as they participate in the programs.
