Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the general supervision of the Field Supervisor Concessions, prepares and serves fast food to the public and assists with the operation of Golf concessions.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provides superior customer service in preparing and serving fast food to the public.
  2. Receives payments, deposits daily revenue, and completes daily cash summary sheets; ensures daily deposits and float are balanced.
  3. Keeps concession area clean and organized.
  4. Assists with maintaining concession stock and stock records, which may include monitoring stock spoilage, ordering, receiving, and transferring stock.
  5. Performs such other related duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education/Experience:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Current certifications: Ontario Smart Serve and Safe food handling (Level 1)

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to provide superior customer service, serving the public in a polite and efficient manner
  • Must have cash handling abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to practice good lifting, safety, and sanitation techniques
  • Must possess and maintain at minimum a valid Class “G2” Ontario Driver’s Licence
  • Must meet the definition of a competent driver as defined by the Corporation
  • Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as it applies to this work

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Must undergo a successful Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
  • Must maintain Safe Food Handling Certification (Level 1)
  • Must remain a competent driver as defined by the Corporation
  • May be required to provide a successful driver’s record (uncertified)
  • Will be required to work irregular hours and weekends
